An update from Haywards Heath Harriers - Covid-19

(March 15, 2020)

Hi Harriers,

You will no doubt be aware of the developing situation regarding measures to delay the spread of Covid-19, commonly known as coronavirus.

As a club, we are committed to the safety of all our members and as such we are monitoring the situation closely and will be following the advice provided by the UK government.

Tuesday training sessions

We expect to run a normal training session on Tuesday. However, we would ask that if you are, or have recently been, unwell with cold / flu symptoms or are returning from a trip abroad, that you give training a miss this week. Should the situation change we will let you know via the usual club channels.

Mass participation events

We are seeing an increase in the number of mass participation running events being cancelled. Rome, Boston, Paris, Brighton and London marathons have already been cancelled or postponed with others watching the situation closely. We would recommend keeping a close eye on any races you are signed up for in case they are impacted.
