The Ardingly Amble - WSFRL
The Ardingly Amble is hosted by Haywards Heath Harriers and is our annual fixture in the West Sussex Fun Run League (WSFRL) race series.
Our 2026 fixture date is Sunday 11th October 2026.
The Course
Join us at Ardingly Showground for a fun and undulating 5-mile race as part of the West Sussex Fun Run League.
The senior race is a two-lap course of approximately 5 miles (8km), taking place entirely within the grounds of Ardingly Showground. The course is undulating, with a mixture of surfaces including cinder paths, so we recommend wearing trail shoes or suitable off-road footwear.
Whether you're racing for a league result, chasing a PB, or simply looking for a fun morning out, we’d love to see you there!
Junior Race
The Junior race is 1 mile and is open to runners under 15.
Start time: 10:30am
Senior Race
The Senior race is approximately 5 miles (8km) and is open to runners aged 15 and over.
Start time: 11:00am
Given the surface, the course is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome at the event, but must be kept on a lead at all times and must not interfere with runners.
Cakes & Hot Drinks
What’s a race without cake?
We’ll have cakes and hot drinks available to buy after your run, so stick around, refuel and cheer on the other runners!
Results will be available here shortly after the race.
Facilities
Toilets are available but there are no indoor changing areas. Please come ready to run!
A select range of refreshments will also be on sale.
Bags are left at owners’ risk.
Entries
Club entries in advance via the usual club channels. Unattached runners are welcome to run but must enter on the day.
Entry dependant on capacity not being exceeded.

Seniors - £5 (WSFRL members in advance) | £10 (on the day and only if capacity has not been reached)
