VR Results for the weekend 22-25 May 2020
(May 26, 2020)Yet again over 40 Harriers turned out to take on 2 challenging 10k courses - one each in the Haywards Heath - Lindfield area and one in Burgess Hill. The Lindfield course included a partial climb of Mt Oathall in the final km - but this didn't put you off!

We are planning a rerun of the 5k races 5th-7th June and then something different after that....Watch this space, Whatsapp, and email..but keep training!
Statistics
- 42 Courses run by Harriers in the "Window"; 2 guests also ran and are not listed
- 1 dedicated Harrier completed both 10ks as part of a single run!! Some Harriers had multiple efforts reflecting the importance of learning the route when no markings/marshalls
Tight Racing awards - although they never knew it..
- Tim Stannard pipped Simon Robinson by 1s
- Kim Lo pipped Chris Russell by 1s with Tim Miller 2s further back
- Pete Francis bested Dave Warren by 3s as did James Smyth to Shiv Amer
- Sim Wishlade, Lins Blain and Mark Sykes kept 10s between themselves while being born 10 years apart
- Shiv Amer, Karen Thompson & Ben Gibson missed out on racing on their birthdays
