HHH VR6 5k July 24-26 2020
(July 26, 2020)Most of the entrants for the sixth round of the HHH VR series were competing for the club in the Virtual interclub match against Bridlington Road Runners, Please see the main News item for that and the results detail there.
We did continue to capture the 5k results for Harriers as per prior runnings so people can keep track of their progress. Full Harriers results are here in the usual format.
Highlights
- 35 Harriers competed of which 32 were also competing for the club in the "match" vs Bridlington Road Runners
- There was a major shift of activity to the "faster" course in Burgess Hill. There James Collins showed his class with an outstanding 15:51. Of course anyone dipping under their rolling best will have that reset for next time! Thats 18 people - 50% of the runners....
- Ben Duncan topped the HHH age-graded league. James Collins topped the "performance against best" league with Chris Faulkner and James Moffatt close behind
- No Dead Heats this week!!
- Matt King held off Mark Green by 1 second and Lydia Levy escaped Tommy Tomkins by 2s
- Once again no-one ran on their birthday although a couple were only days away and used the fact to shift their age factor along.
