Gurkha Challenge success for Julie & Marion
(July 27, 2014)Early this morning Julie & Marion completed their third Gurkha Challenge (100 km over the Southdowns) in four years in a new pb of 18:40 hours and in the process raised £1500 for charity. Well done!"
Marion said: "Unfortunately, after 43 miles, we were reduced to a team of two when our third team member had to drop out due to the heat. The organisers won't allow half-teams to continue so they paired us up with four Sandhurst Officers. We didn't mind!"
