The Strava Segment (HHH Virtual Half Marathon) can be accessed here

Course:

The Half Marathon course is a downland run that makes use of parts of the South Downs Way. Starting and ending at Ditchling Beacon carpark, this is a challenging and undulating course that will test your stamina and endurance.

Please pay particular attention to the course instructions and conduct recces so you are familiar with the route. With the recent change in rules, group running (up to six, with appropriate social distancing) would be a great way to familiarise yourself with this course.

Please take a look at the main VR Races page on the web site for guidance on what you need to do as far as the tech bit goes, and also what you should do at a minimum as far as Health and Safety requirements are concerned, and of course you will need to take social distancing measures into account also.

THE TROUBLESOME TEN strava segment is here.

The course is a tricky and hilly one that will take you on a loop of Haywards Heath, Lindfield and Cuckfield. It takes in parts of previously run Virtual courses but has enough new challenges to keep you on your toes.

The VR Team have provided a central HH course on a Strava segment.  We want you to run this course, as always with social distancing firmly at the forefront of your minds. However, given the current government advice to exercise locally, we will also accept a 10m Strava activity from those who are not near enough to Haywards Heath to call it local. We will of course assess elevation with a beady eye.
